Copper Country Community Mental Health

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about who we are. At Copper Country Mental Health, we are proud to serve more than 1,100 people each year, offering a wide range of supports—from prevention, therapy, and medication management to intensive community-based services and adult group homes.

Governed by a county-based Board established in 1963, our organization grew out of a shared commitment to providing care in the community rather than institutions—a value that continues to guide us today.

Our mission is to ensure that eligible individuals in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties have access to high‑quality, cost‑effective behavioral health services. Everything we do is focused on helping people build independence, enhance quality of life, and fully participate in their communities.
