Thank you for visiting our website and taking the time to better understand who we are and what we do. Copper Country Mental Health served over 1,100 people last year with services ranging from prevention, therapy, and medication management, to intensive community-based services and adult group homes. The Board that governs us was formed in 1963 during a time of growing support for serving people in the community, rather than in institutions.

Our mission is to ensure that appropriate, cost-efficient, and quality behavioral health services are accessible to eligible persons in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties. Copper Country Mental Health Services provides an array of services intended to increase independence, improve quality of life, and support community integration and inclusion of the persons served.
